SDG Impact Stories is a community of enablers using storytelling for social and environmental change.
From Feb to July 2022, our team has been travelling to 20 countries to meet and cover the impact of +50 entrepreneurs contributing to at least one of the 17 SDGs . While we covered all 17 SDGs, we primarily focused on: Education, Food and Climate Action.
This project was the result of a collaboration with EHL, Climate Positive, Ashoka CH, Accelerate Prosperity, Social Gastronomy Movement, Quadia, AlphaMundi, The Knowledge Society, UNDP, and IKEA Social Entrepreneurship.
🚀Goals
1. Educate people on global challenges and the SDGs at a large scale
2. Democratize the concept of Social Entrepreneurship
3. Inspire younger generations to pursue a career in the field of social impact.
🎬 End product for each social entrepreneur
- A 3 min storytelling episode on Problem, Solution and Impact.
- A 15-20 min recorded interview with the founder
🎙️Walk The Talk series
- 20 min interview series with thought leaders, committed politicians, senior lecturers and renown change-makers.
- Topics addressed: social entrepreneurship, the role of finance to accelerate change, the importance of youth, the role of governments.
- Who: Magali Silva (former Minister of Trade and Tourism of Peru), Tariq Fancy (former CIO for Sustainable Investing at BlackRock), Robert Rubinstein (Pioneer in impact investing and TBLI), Mauricio Rodas Espinel (former mayor of Quito), Noella Richard (Director of UNDP Youth in N-Y), faculty members from Harvard and MIT, the Ministry of Education in Nepal and others.
