Founded in 1996, Sole Design Services, PC (SDS) and – SDS Engineering, LLC (a small, woman owned company) are a team of experienced professionals who possess a sound understanding of the disciplines of Construction Engineering. Our staffs of engineers design workable alternatives to produce timely, cost-effective results. Based in Fairfax, Virginia, we are actively involved in the evaluation, planning, and design of diverse projects. Our practice is made up of professional engineers, designers, project managers, planners, cost estimators, draftsmen, CADD operators and support staff. Our personnel have the experience, education, and ability to design systems for health care, commercial, data centers, institutional, governmental, Secure Compartmented Information Facilities, recreational, and various other facilities. These projects also encompass areas such as acoustics, anti-terrorism, automation and controls, codes and ordinances, computer facilities, cost estimating, energy conservation, security, intrusion control, surveillance, sound communications, telephone and CCTV systems, value analysis and testing and construction phase review.
