SDSU CivE 495 Capstone Design Class Industry Connection

Every semester, the the Capstone Senior Design Project culminates with an industry event for the students to showcase their projects. Industry support is crucial for success of the event, and very enjoyable for professionals. As Lecturers at SDSU and practicing Professional Engineers, John Prince and Jim Haughey are committed to continuously improving the Senior Design Project class (CivE 495) to help the students learn and practice engineering more akin to how projects are pursued, planned, and executed in the "real world". John Prince also teaches the Introduction to Civil Engineering (CivE 100) course, where the prime objective is helping freshman students understand what the engineering profession is all about and what daily life is like for an engineer.
