Stu Hicks was diagnosed with Adult Onset Muscular Dystrophy at age 41, prompting him to navigate life with a renewed purpose: serving others, especially young people with MD, ALS, and similar conditions.
A lifelong ocean lover and certified SCUBA diver since 16, Stu saw the profound impact of adaptive sports. His journey led to the creation of SeaMD, offering life-changing experiences in adaptive sailing and SCUBA diving for those with muscular degenerative diseases, inspired by his own challenges and love for the sea.
