Since 2019 the Sea2see Foundation works with coastal communities to preserve coastal environments, oceans, lakes and rivers from the deadliest Ocean plastic trash: ALDFG (Abandoned, Lost, Discarded Fishing Gear). A network of 25 collection stations allow us to collect on avg. 20 Tns per month in West Africa. Fishermen are paid per Kg. hence bringing a new source of income to the collectors while cleaning the environment. After meticulous cleaning and baling, bales are up-cycled into a reusable raw material in the form of Pa6 pellets.
