SeaCarbon is a Brazilian company dedicated to producing seaweed extracts, focusing on the species Kappaphycus alvarezii, known for its biostimulant effects on plants.
Our cultivation takes place in Penha-SC, where we have two mariculture areas legalized by the Ministry of Agriculture (Mapa).
The seaweed extract we produce can be used as a raw material for fertilizers, as well as directly by farmers.
Seaweed contains various nutritional factors and plant metabolism stimulants, in addition to a powerful anti-stress effect. It is a potent tool for mitigating environmental impact. Additionally, seaweed absorbs large amounts of carbon and recycles the organic and mineral matter that humans release into the oceans.
The commercial use of seaweed helps preserve the environment, reduces ocean acidification, and creates protected microenvironments for native marine species.
