SEA Collaborative

We launched SEA Collaborative because we had met so many people who wanted to make an impact in programs like in Teach For America or Peace Corps but didn’t feel like they could pause their other commitments. At the same time, we've seen so many individuals that would be great role models and mentors for students but don’t have the means of doing so within their busy lifestyles. So, we created a mentoring program for professionals and university students, that makes this impact convenient with a time commitment as low as an hour a month. We safely and carefully match students’ needs and mentors’ strengths to make the most impact possible. Perhaps you or someone you know didn’t get a chance to do Teach For America but would still like to help the education of our country’s posterity. Maybe you no longer teach but would still like to help out during some of your spare time. Or maybe you’re the first in your family to have gone to college, and you can help another student do the same. We are very proud to be partnering with KIPP Bridge Academy in Oakland, California during this adventure.
