The Structural Engineers Association of Cal Poly Pomona (SEACPP) takes pride in exposing driven and passionate students to the world of structural engineering. The fundamental goal of SEACPP is to enable engineering students to connect, socialize, and learn in hopes of contributing towards individual interpersonal and professional development. At our meetings, students are connected with peers and exposed to professionals in the structural engineering industry. From involvement in the meetings, students have the ability to learn about companies and projects, while gaining practical knowledge that can be applied to the industry. These meetings aren’t purely informational, but result in opportunities such as open positions and tech tours. SEACPP also provides hands-on experience in proposing, designing, and constructing through student competitions such as ASCE Timber Strong Design Build.
