Seal Rite Flanges

In 2020, we set out to develop a product that would effectively reduce methane emissions on oil well sites. Specifically, the emissions associated with storage tanks located within tank batteries. Traditionally, thief hatches are bolted to the top of production tanks as a venting solution that also offers access to the tank when needed. The problem with this setup is that it allows for methane emissions to escape through the bolt holes. We were able to solve this issue with our 100% USA manufactured flanges. Our flange has blind tapped holes drilled from both the top and the bottom & is accompanied by a set of custom fit O-Rings to create a perfect seal between the thief hatch and the storage tank. This patented technology eliminates methane emissions through bolt holes completely as there are no holes drilled all the way through the flange. As the regulations on methane emissions continue to tighten, our goal was to create a product that could solve this problem in a manner that was both effective and cost-efficient. Our flanges are currently offered in an API 16 bolt pattern as well as an API 16 to ANSI 8 adapter, but we are willing and able to create custom flanges to your specifications if requested.
