About SEAM Aero, LLC
SEAM Aero helps aerospace Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) companies effectively manage change and close technology gaps. The goal of SEAM Aero is to facilitate the transition to the age of digital manufacturing by aerospace MRO companies. SEAM Aero is partnered with the Research and Development Center for SEAM (“the Center”), a university centered research facility with well established faculty and equipment laboratories from the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University and University of Tulsa. The Center is focused on creating and disseminating its intellectual property, innovations, and knowledge base in Shape Engineering (SE) and Advanced Manufacturing (AM) through research, training, education and engineering services to the aerospace MRO industry. This partnership allows SEAM Aero to offer aerospace companies from government and private sectors expertise in nearly every aspect of the supply chain. Our wide range of scanning capabilities support virtually any scanning application or requirement; we can provide fast, accurate scanning of components using state-of-the-art equipment for digital model reconstruction. SEAM provides modeling, design, and analysis services as well as manufacturing services and support. We offer services for prototyping or low-volume production, calibration and quality inspection measurement reports, non-destructive testing and inspection of components, and part conformance analysis and verification. We help our partners identify, analyze and improve existing processes or develop new processes. Finally, drawing on our university resources we offer consulting, research and training on virtually any aspect of aerospace MRO manufacturing. SEAM works collaboratively with companies to solve problems, provide specialized services, incorporate new technologies, and facilitate process improvements, enabling our partners to control their capital and labor expenses and become more competitive.
