SEAMTHESIS is a Technology Centre of Excellence operating at the International level in Research, Development and Technology Innovation (RDTI), qualification and certification of products and components, engineering and their application. SEAMTHESIS’ activities are focused on materials, components and systems for the Energy and Environment, Industrial manufacturing and Materials, Mechatronics and Dual Technologies, etc.. It extends to all the product sectors using advanced structural materials (e.g. biomedical, food&beverage) with some involvement in the field of functional materials. Through the aggregation of major industrial groups and collaboration with internationally recognised players, SEAMTHESIS aims to provide top class services in RDTI, Operations, Business Development, and Value-Added Services. SEAMTHESIS’ mission is to become a Centre of Excellence for the sectors to which Shareholders and Clients belong stimulating, maximising and managing the R&DTI of the entire production chain, to compete effectively in International markets. SEAMTHESIS has been set up in the form of a "Società a responsabilità limitata (Srl)" and an innovative start-up, with a widespread shareholding made up of a nucleus of its founder members – industrial groups which are world leaders in their respective markets, and which in certain instances have already formalised their membership and identified work orders – which will then be opened up to new Shareholders. The structure of SEAMTHESIS, composed of a team of researchers and experts at the highest level of their respective fields, has been organised to take a project management approach, and operates both within its captive market (represented by its shareholders) and in the broader product, technological and geographical areas. In any case, these areas will be composed of industrial and non-industrial, private and public clients, whose interests and activities do not conflict with those of Shareholders.
