SEAO2-CDR is an EU funded project that unites scientific, economic, legal, political, social and ethical researchers to develop the mechanisms, tools and guidelines required to ensure that ocean-based carbon dioxide removal techniques can be evaluated and implemented in a responsible and transparent manner. The project’s philosophy is centred around the need to unite the key actors that will discover and determine which approaches are environmentally, socially and commercially viable, in order to facilitate simultaneous and mutually compatible advances.
