Searching for Solutions

Searching for Solutions is a nonprofit design collective, specializing in educational experiences. The goal is to upend structural inequality using youth progress as our north star, attempting to catalyze systemic change. We are working to empower youth to reshape society, currently this is being manifested through two solutions: a program (Designing A Better Future) and a platform (Ruthie). Designing A Better Future: - Launched originally as a co-design summer program for product development, Designing a Better Future has evolved into an afterschool program. We equip youth with the skills to design and prototype solutions for challenges they experience within their lives. Ruthie: - We are working to increase youth reading engagement. Ruthie, the platform we’re developing, will deliver a social learning experience. We are using reading as a means of helping youth cultivate intellectual confidence and unlock curiosity.
