SeaTopic was created to boost innovation in the martime industry, joining competencies on ocean science and maritime applications of ocean data.
SeaTopic is active in a number of international organisations/ cooperation networks starting from IHO (International Hydrographical Organisations) and IALA (International Association of Light House) developing the new standards of e-navigation, e-ports and e-maritime surveillance.
Currently engaged in the European projects "DIOL" (Develop Innovative Offshore Logistics) and "Overheat" (Advanced digital solutions to detect and manage accidents on board vessels) Seatopic aims at introducing new maritme data standards (S-100) and data exchange standards (S-200) which are transforming the maritime world into a sea-land connected space.
