The Seattle Planning Commission is a volunteer advisory committee which advise the Mayor and City Council. Linda was appointed by Mayor in 2006 to the Commission and was re-appointed for a second three year term by the City Council in 2009. In June 2007, Linda was selected by her fellow Commissioners as Vice Chair and in June 2008 was selected as Chair.
