The Seattle Planning Commission is a 16-member volunteer body that advises the Mayor, City Council, and City departments on broad planning goals, policies and plans for the physical development of the City of Seattle. The Commission also engages in independent analysis and promotes issues that are vital to livability. As a member of the professional staff supporting the Planning Commission, I am committed to developing policies and plans that promote healthy, sustainable communities. I believe that a vibrant city includes distinct neighborhoods, a range of housing options, transportation choices, and local economic development opportunities.

The Trust For Public Land is a national nonprofit organization that creates parks and protects land for people, ensuring healthy, livable communities for generations to come. As Washington State Program Manager, I was responsible for developing collaborative partnerships, planning a diverse portfolio of projects, and leading community engagement efforts to advance the mission and programmatic goals of the organization.

Provided environmental policy and planning services to energy and natural resources projects, with an emphasis on development of renewable energy and transmission infrastructure.

Managed inter-disciplinary consulting projects for municipal, state, and federal government agencies. Project areas included environmental and urban planning, stakeholder coordination, group facilitation, strategic planning, program management, and community affairs. Broad experience in developing practical and effective public policy solutions and comprehensive stakeholder involvement programs. Skilled in organizing and facilitating multi-party stakeholder processes and community meetings.

Provided policy, strategic planning, and program management consulting services to municipal, state, and federal government agencies in support of their organizational goals and objectives.
