Second Canvas is a tool focused on helping museums to build attractive multimedia experiences by combining high resolution images from their digitized collections with interactive storytelling.
This cloud platform allows museums to upload their high resolution images and convert them into a zoomable format, enrich them with additional content (images, audio, video, text, extra layers, ...) linked to specific details, and finally publish them on multiple supports: websites, native apps, Second Canvas apps, iBooks, digital exhibitions ... All of this, without needing any technical or design skills.
Museums such as Prado or Thyssen, in Spain; Mauritshuis, in the Netherlands; or SMK, in Denmark, are already using Second Canvas to create this kind of experiences for their audiences (Second Canvas apps already available at iTunes and Google Play stores).
