About Second Life
We don’t just collect and recycle plastic. With our corporate partners, we take it a step further by building real waste management systems hand in hand with local communities, in countries lacking infrastructure and financing. We are the first project globally certified under the Verra Plastic Waste Reduction Standard. Since 2020, we have successfully collected and recycled/processed over 5,400 tonnes of ocean plastic waste and provided support to more than 1200 collectors on behalf of brands like Caudalie, Thai Union, Symrise, or Traveloka. For companies interested in joining this project, more information is available on our website: https://secondlife.earth/
