At Retex, we are building a circular business model for textile waste from the hospitality industry through recycling, repurposing and upcycling. The hospitality industry usually converts their end-of-life textile waste into wipes that end up in landfills subsequently, wiping out the value of their cotton rich textiles. Retex believes that textile waste is wealth that cannot be thrown into landfills. The textile waste we collect is sorted, managed and recycled back into products for the hospitality industry by paving the way for a closed-loop process emphasizing resource conservation and regeneration. We want to positively impact the planet and the people working in the hospitality industry. Our approach goes beyond ecological impact—it also directly improves the livelihoods of waste workers, providing them with dignified and better job opportunities
