Second Tree

Second Tree is a humanitarian refugee organisation, founded in 2016 and based in Northern Greece, where we support approximately 2,000 people. Our mission, informed by years of working alongside refugees, is to challenge biases that perceive refugees as “the other.” We envision a world where refugees are not patronised, romanticised, or stereotyped but seen as individuals and members of the human community. We specialise in education, anti-bias training and community engagement, on the ground and through international partnerships.
