About Secure4sme Project
SECURE Project Overview The SECURE project aims to bolster the cyber resilience of EU SMEs, safeguarding them from cyber threats and maintaining the integrity of the EU’s digital single market. It offers targeted assistance, resources, and guidance to help SMEs navigate regulatory landscapes, ensuring their prosperity and contributing to a safer digital Europe. The project connects National Cybersecurity Coordination Centres (NCCs) and European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) to maximize reach and impact across the EU. Cascade Funding SECURE will facilitate EU financial support for SMEs to comply with upcoming Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) requirements. At least two calls for proposals will be issued, with SMEs submitting projects via an online platform. Eligible proposals will be evaluated by impartial committees, and successful projects will receive 50% co-financing. Transparency in fund allocation and evaluation criteria will be ensured. The platform will foster a community of applicants through interactive support and collaboration. National funding may supplement EU contributions as deemed appropriate by NCCs or designated authorities. Central Repository SECURE will establish an openly available website serving as a central repository for CRA-compliance-related resources. This repository will provide easy access to essential guidelines, support tools, training materials, and free/open-source code implementations. The goal is to support knowledge sharing and upskilling initiatives within the CRA domain, ensuring SMEs have the resources needed to comply with the CRA. _______________ SECURE is funded by the European Union under GA No 101190325. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or European Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Competence Centre.
