On January 1994 SEDECAL was founded with completely Spanish equity (Sociedad Española de Electromedicina y Calidad, S.A.; SEDECAL). During this time, we have had a continuous growth that has positioned us as worldwide leaders in OEM design and manufacturing of high frequency X-Ray generators and X-Ray systems. Today, SEDECAL also has six divisions leading their fields of expertise: OEM Division, Medical Radiology; Pre-clinical Division, PET and PET/CT; Veterinary Division, Veterinary Radiology; Healthcare Division, Medical Ozone Generation; Industrial Division, Power Electronics, Motor Soft starters and Renewable Energies; Industrial Subcontracting Division, printed circuit boards, electronic systems and electromechanical systems.
We can proudly say that this success has been reached thanks to the human factor. Since the very beginning our people have been completely devoted and involved on the fundamental objectives of the company such as Total Quality, Innovation, Continuous Improvement, as well as environment care and protection. Following this philosophy, the company has obtained all quality and environmental certifications and registrations for the company and its products: ISO 9001:2000, ISO 13485:2003, ISO 14001, EMAS, CE, UL, CSA, CCC, FDA, SDA, etc. Our compromise and efforts to quality have received several recognitions and prices to entrepreneurial excellence.
On research and development (R&D), SEDECAL has continuously assigned great financial resources which constitute always a very important chapter of its general budget. This constant effort has resulted on over 900 direct jobs and an enormous export activity to over 180 countries, establishing overseas branches in USA, Hungary and China.
