Ever looked at night sky and felt awed by the vast cosmic ocean? Ever wondered whether we are alone? Ever wondered about our place and purpose in the grand universe? Let’s find answers together at SEDS SLIIT chapter. We are the Students for Exploration and Development of Space. We believe that a strong global space program is essential for humanity. No student should ever feel the need to ‘grow up’ and abandon their dreams of space exploration. Even if you did astronomy during school or not, you are welcome to join us regardless of your faculty. Use your entrepreneurial senses to develop market models for asteroid mining ventures, use your artistic skills to illustrate humans next steps, use your programming knowledge to fabricate new algorithms to find new planets where we can move in one day. Use your knowledge in law to constitute laws when we carry our banners to the far beaches in the moon Europa. Analyze the behavioral patterns of astronauts and use your psychology knowledge to evaluate them. Use your engineering skills to make rovers,satellites. Or fancy how a Martian habitat will be breeding grounds to new architectural designs? Yes, all of these are types of competitions we can enter which are organized by many institutions such as NASA, ISRO. Join us as we liftoff to sail the great beyond!
