Seed Education

Seed Education is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) founded to revolutionise Aged Care training and to get the right people into Aged Care Jobs. We were very frustrated with traditional RTOs feeding poor quality graduates to the industry and expecting Aged Care employers to just accept it. Aged Care traditionally attracts people who are ’just looking for a job’. But as anyone who has ever worked in Aged Care knows, it’s not just a job, it’s a passion and a fire in your belly! If you don’t have that, you won’t last. So we built our Seed community full of Aged Care organisations that refuse to put up with mediocre graduates any more. Together, we designed the course that they, as employers, want. Seed Education classes are conducted onsite at Aged Care Facilities in small cohorts. These small groups allow for an intimate and intensive learning experience. Seed's onsite (at Aged Care Facilities) delivery model and extensive practical placement requirement, allows graduates the opportunity to learn and immediately apply their knowledge. Our passion is ensuring that Australia’s ageing population receives the highest standard of care – the standard they deserve and that each one of us wants when we inevitably experience residential Aged Care ourselves. What we are doing is considered “revolutionary” in both the Aged Care sector and the Training sector. We don’t really agree that creating job-ready graduates should be considered all that revolutionary; after all, it’s what our Aged Care employers and residents deserve!
