SEED (Social Equity Enabled by Design)

SEED is a Toronto-based, Canadian not-for-profit with a mission to create enriched and inclusive educational opportunities for Iranian children and youth worldwide. SEED is founded in 2019 by a group of inclusive designers, design thinkers, and educational justice advocates and relies both on international grants and donations to fund its organizational costs and implement its projects. We seek to utilize new educational technologies to enable Iranian children to go beyond their standard curriculum and have access to a wide range of resources to nourish their curiosity and help their intellectual and emotional development. This will give Iranian kids equal opportunities to explore, discover and expand their knowledge about life and thrive in the global community. We hope to take steady steps together to create educational opportunities for children of all colors and ethnicities in Iran.
