As a Boston-based nonprofit, we are dedicated to strengthening science in developing countries because the world can’t afford to let any scientific talent go to waste.
We don’t just focus on health, or food security, or energy and environment, or economic development—we aim to transform them all.
Through Instrumental Access, we put the tools of modern science in the hands of brilliant scientists worldwide. Instrumental Access enables research and discovery, teaching and learning, and institutional capacity-building that are essential to solving development challenges.
Our scientists are working to improve healthcare, adapt agricultural systems to climate change, and generate clean energy.
To date, Seeding Labs has made more than 132 shipments of donated laboratory equipment and supplies to 100 universities and institutions in 39 countries.
Working with our 200+ corporate partners, these shipments have provided instruments worth more than $44 million, enhancing the education of thousands of scientists and students aroundthe globe.
