About SEG - MUN Student Chapter
SEG Memorial University of Newfoundland Student Chapter has the mission of promoting the science of geophysics and the education of applied geophysicists. To foster the expert and ethical practice of geophysics in the exploration and development of natural resources, in characterizing the near surface, and in mitigating earth hazards. We organise a variety of events throughout the year, such as short courses, distinguished lectures, and several social events, providing opportunities for leadership, achievement, and cultivation of ideas.
