Свою історію компанія «Мікроприбор» починає з 1992 року. 15 березня 1992 р. у Києві було відкрито перший магазин годинників «Casio» за адресою, вул. Московська, 3. В 1996 році Компанія домоглася права на дистрибуцію всесвітньо відомого бренду «Casio». Перші роздрібні магазини працювали і стали відомі всім під вивіскою «Casio». У тому ж 1996 році відкрився авторизований Сервісний центр. У 1997 році компанія отримує дистрибуцію по брендам Citizen і Hermle. У 2000 році вперше звучить нова назва торгової мережі "Секунда" - компанія реєструє торговий знак і відкриває шість годинникових магазинів у Києві. З 2001 року почалася експансія компанії в регіони. Торгова мережа «Секунда» успішно розвивається по всій території України - магазини відкриваються в Черкасах, Львові, Миколаєві, Одесі. Одночасно розширюється брендовий портфель, до звичного та знайомого Casio приєднуються нові японські бренди Seiko і Q&Q. В 2002 році, компанія отримує дистрибуцію по брендам Jacques Lemans, Continental, Сlyda, Auguste Reymond, EverSwiss. До 2006 року компанія «Мікроприбор» відкриває 20 годинникових магазинів. У листопаді 2007 року відривається інтернет-магазин «Секунда». У 2007-2008 роках Компанія активно розвивається: торгова мережа «Секунда» складається вже з 55 магазинів. У 2009 році компанія проводить оптимізацію бізнесу, що дозволяє вистояти в умовах кризи.
На сьогоднішній день компанія «Мікроприбор» представляє 32 магазини, у 14 містах України. В цей час брендовий портфель Компанії налічує більше 30 годинникових брендів.
