About Self-défense Maman
Women, teenagers and girls are the first collateral victims of armed conflict. The Self-Défense Maman association was set up to teach them how to defend themselves, and to provide them with psychological and medical support. Since 2022, it has been deploying its volunteers throughout the Tanganyika sector of the Fizi Territory - South Kivu Province in the DRC.
