In December 2023, the company was acquired by an indirect subsidiary of Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association Inc (TIAA), one of the largest pension fund managers in the USA. TIAA already owns the largest self-storage operator in Sweden, Green Storage. The consolidated group will become the largest self-storage operator in the Nordic region, with significant growth ambitions in the coming years.
