Selkie was established by researchers with experience in psychology, service design and UX dating back to 2012.

We engage our experience, knowledge, and methods to support our partners in taking the right direction and making informed decisions during their products and services development.
For example?
Usability testing
Verifying if the product allows users to realize their goals under specific conditions. This takes into account not only users' conscious expectations but also their habits and deeper sources of behavior.
Methods and techniques: task-based usability testing, Rapid Iterative Testing and Evaluation (RITE), structure testing, first-click testing, click tracking
Possible outcomes: errors list with prioritization, area-based recommendations for improvement, directional recommendations for the entire product/service, and conclusions on user fit.
Exploratory research
Will help to validate a product or service idea by understanding the needs and problems of the audience. Through exploratory research, we determine the fit with the market and help prioritize further product development.
Methods: in-depth interview (IDI), contextual inquiry, focus research, survey research, card sorting, diary methods, shadowing
Outcomes: area- and strategy-based recommendations, development of a customer journey map, and conclusions on customization.
