SEM Architects (Farnsworth Group)

In December 2013, Farnsworth Group acquired SEM Architects creating SEM an architectural division of Farnsworth Group. In 2015, SEM officially adopted the Farnsworth Group name backed by a full-service team of engineers and architects. Founded in 1978, SEM Architects had one of the largest portfolios in the commercial, industrial and retail sectors in the Rocky Mountain West. Building on early commissions in the development industry, the firm evolved from a business-focused enterprise to a full-service, design-oriented architectural practice. The team continues its desire to exceed client expectations by accomplishing project goals and objectives. Whether the intent is to adapt and reuse existing facilities or design a new project from the ground up, we support design initiatives with quality architecture and engineering design.
