Sematex was founded in 1989 with 10 employees sorting manually 2000 tons each year. The company has expanded considerably but the core business and philosophy have remained the same.
In 2019 Sematex opened its new offices and a new warehouse of 4000m2. With this big improvement, Sematex invested a lot in the modernization of the process and had a big focus on increasing the efficiency of the sorting process and offers now a yearly recycling amount of 5000 tons with 40 employees.
In 2021 the company took a large step forward, more structure was applied and a management team has been implemented.
