The Association Sembrando Semillas de Paz - or Sembrandopaz - is a non-profit civil society organization founded in 2005 by Ricardo Esquivia Ballesta, a Colombian human rights lawyer who has spent over 20 years advocating for peace.
We work with the base of society for a sustainable peace in Colombia by empowering rural and grassroots organizations, strengthening economic and human development and social justice in the area of Montes de Maria.
We work with a range of different actors and groups, including children, youth, women, internally displaced persons, conflict victims, indigenous populations, afro-colombian populations, community organizations, local authorities and churches.
