We are a voluntary, independent working group of financial, legal, and charity professionals who strive for better outcomes for families of people with disabilities.
SENDA was founded in 2024 to raise the standards of advice and share best practice. Our network comprises professionals from many legal, financial and non-profit sector firms across the United Kingdom.
According to 2023 UK Disability Prevalence Statistics, 24% of working age adults and 11% of children are disabled. We know that our professions can do more to make the right advice available at the right time to a population often excluded from mainstream advice.
Through collaboration, education, and accreditation, SENDA strives for positive change and a future where the families of people with disabilities can find appropriate advice in an accessible way.
We offer training, networking, and an opportunity to share best practices on advice for families of people with special educational needs and disabilities.
