SendBob

SendBob is a B2B mobile-based platform that links farmers and vendors to trusted and efficient markets to provide quality, affordable safe food to customers. SendBob uses a cashless business-to-business platform to distribute quality and affordable priced farmer produce to thousands of medium-sized retailers in Kampala. An average Farmer spends a minimum of $15 in harvesting 100kg of Citrus Fruit. On each kg, a net profit of $5 is gained. Due to the informal value and supply chains capitalized by middlemen, a farmer/trader earns below the estimated profit. On the other hand, a medium-sized retailer/vendor spends 20% extra on purchasing produce, causing the final consumer to spend 25% extra on food costs. Our Goal is to be the leading trusted market provider for farmers' produce and vendors efficient source of supply.
