Sengodu Foundation is a registered NGO and public charitable trust established in 2024, committed to creating lasting change in rural communities across Tamil Nadu, especially in the Kallakurichi and Chinnasalem regions. We are now expanding our vision to serve more communities across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry, aiming to bring holistic development to even more underserved populations. Our mission is to uplift rural communities through sustainable, community-focused initiatives that address key social challenges. We work across multiple domains including: Education: Scholarships, learning tools, digital education, and dropout prevention. Healthcare: Health camps, mobile clinics, awareness programs, and blood donation. Environment: Tree plantation (including palm seeds), waste management, and climate education. Agriculture: Training in sustainable farming, organic practices, and farmer support. Food Security: Grocery and meal distribution for underprivileged families. Women & Child Welfare: Safety, education, legal awareness, and empowerment programs. Youth & Sports: Physical fitness, team building, leadership through sports and mentoring. Community Development: Rural infrastructure, livelihood opportunities, and inclusive festivals (e.g., Pongal, New Year). We are registered under the Indian Trust Act and hold 12A, 80G, and CSR certifications, allowing us to provide tax benefits to donors and collaborate with CSR partners. With a community-first approach, Sengodu Foundation works closely with local populations to design and implement relevant, impactful solutions.
