Senopi is on a mission to increase the healthy lifespan of seniors. To do this, it uses virtual reality (VR) headsets and specially designed 360-degree videos from nature to activate and improve the well-being of seniors. Future products aim to promote physical and cognitive health, particularly focused on helping seniors with dementia and frailty.
Our VR platform enables an administrator, such as a nurse, to provide activating and therapeutic experiences to multiple seniors or patients (users), by using a tablet, while they are wearing VR headsets. This allows healthcare institutions to scale their caregiving and therapies while providing engaging, state-of-the-art, evidence-based healthcare.
Senopi started as the Lavendr innovation project at Ricolab AG, the innovation lab of Ricola AG, and the project has since been spun off into a separate company, Senopi AG, in December 2019.
Senopi is part of the AAL project: www.cosophy.com, a project co-founded by the AAL Programme and the Swiss Innovation Agency Innosuisse.
