- The system can be directly integrated into the production line - connected to the source of the pollutant as its
being formed without any need for pre-treatment.
- The system is fully automated, operated from the control room of the local production plant. No need for
dedicated operational personnel.
- No limits on high concentrations of organic pollutants (including halogenated hydrocarbons) in the waste
stream. Does not require pre-treatment activities for the highly concentrated waste.
- Able to cope with rapid changes of organic pollutant concentrations and flow rates.
- High operational temperature inside the reactor, resulting in shorter retention times, reduction of reactor
volume.
- The high energy concentration of plasma allows the use of smaller installations, reducing capital, operational
costs and system footprint.
- Low consumption of electrical power to produce the plasma torch gas eliminates the need to use fuel for the
generation of high temperatures inside the reactor.
By using a combination of RTO and SE plasma systems in plants that have VOC sources with high concentrated organics with/without halogens and diluted VOC, a hybrid solution can be applied that benefits from the unique advantages of each of the technologies eliminating the need for using a T.O.
