SenseSafe is a Boston-based technology company that produces a one-stop-monitoring system to protect people from invisible threats in their home like radon, carbon monoxide, flammable gas, and mold. The system leverages artificial intelligence to machine-learn the environment and alert homeowners when there are potential issues so they can take early, preventative action and avoid serious problems down the road. Through proprietary AI, SenseSafe can predict catastrophic events arising from these threats (e.g., gas explosion, carbon monoxide poisoning) and proactively inform utility companies or emergency personnel so the issue can be resolved quickly and without loss of life or property damage. SenseSafe develops smart, air quality monitoring systems for the least ‘sophisticated’ area of the home but one that is often at the root of the hazard – the utility/mechanical room.
