Sensor Platforms was acquired by Audience, Inc. in July 2014. Sensor Platforms licenses algorithmic software, and provides system analysis, for the seamless integration, compensation, and interpretation of sensor information on mobile devices. Sensor Platforms' software is deployed on the application processor or on embedded platforms to perform such functions as power management, background sensor calibration, sensor anomaly compensation, understanding of user contexts and intents, and pedestrian dead reckoning for independent navigation.
