We are a family business whose key goal is to give the customer what they need as quickly as possible. It doesn’t matter if you want an o-ring or a bespoke hydraulic ram assembly; we aim to give every customer a warm and friendly welcome and send you on your way with the parts for the job. We have 40 years experience in the industry since Denis first set up ‘Friction and Hydraulics’ back in the 70’s and now his sons Stephen and Howard have joined the business to continue providing a valuable service to the people of Scunthorpe and the surrounding area. From our in-house workshop we specialise in the reconditioning of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, meaning we manufacture and repair without the need to out source. We stock a massive range of hydraulic and pneumatic products, hose and tubing, oils and greases plus many other accessories making sure that you get what you need when you need it!
