About Sentry Sentry is a full-service general contractor and design-build firm built to lead projects from concept to completion—with the horsepower to self-perform the trades that matter most. We’re not just managing construction—we’re doing the work. Our in-house teams deliver full-scope mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), structural steel erection, crane services, custom fabrication, trucking, field service, and control systems. We also operate our own manufacturing facility to support everything from pre-fab components to specialty builds—giving us the flexibility to move fast and deliver custom solutions for each project. We started as a one-crane crew with a simple mindset: show up, work hard, and get it done. That approach still defines how we operate today. Now headquartered in Watertown, South Dakota, with additional offices in Sioux Falls, Pierre, and across North Dakota, our team has grown to over 200 people strong. We support projects across the Midwest, with active work in South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, and Wyoming—and the proven ability to support clients across neighboring states and new markets. Our work spans commercial, industrial, municipal, and infrastructure sectors. From wastewater treatment plants to specialty shop-built systems, we deliver with clarity, accountability, and pride—backed by a team that’s just as capable in the field as they are in preconstruction.
