Many high-achieving women experience this silent killer: burnouts filled with perfectionism, anxiety, adrenal and chronic fatigue.
They probably wake up tired, drink lots of coffee, Red Bull, and Coke, and push through their day, doing 150% at work. They probably still go to the gym and work, but then they come home and want to collapse on the couch.
Worse yet, they are very moody. They feel somewhat irritable, angry, sad, unhappy, lack humour or are depressed & worry a lot or have things that they just can't let go of, such as:
1) Wasting 99% of their time worrying about what did not happen
2) Taking higher education programs/courses, thinking what they have is not enough
3) Never being able to relax and feeling high-strung, causing insomnia
Those do keep high-achieving women busy but often depleted.
These issues often stem from what we call 'inner child' past experiences or traumas that we internalise and continue to affect us. They could also result from forgetting how to use feminine energy in a male-dominated arena, a concept that refers to your personality's nurturing, empathetic, and collaborative aspects.
