Sequoyah Fund is a Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) offering small business lending and training to enrolled members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and small businesses throughout the seven westernmost counties of North Carolina.
We offer small businesses credit options when they would otherwise be unavailable, lending for furniture, fixtures and equipment; inventory; working capital; bridge loans; business start-up; expansion; or purchase.
We also offer programs to assist potential borrowers with personal budgeting and credit counseling, helping them improve their personal credit profile and their creditworthiness.
Aside from lending, we offer a wide variety of business consulting options, customized business training, public seminars and workshops on business topics, and programs designed to improve personal effectiveness and professionalism.
