Economic Department of the Embassy of France in the Netherlands

The Economic Department in The Hague is part of the international network of the French Treasury (Ministry of the Economy and Finance) and a component of the French Embassy in the Netherlands. It is oversees the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Its missions are organised around three axes: 1. Analysis and information on general and sectoral economic and financial issues in the Netherlands, including their European dimension; 2. The promotion of economic and financial relations between France and the Netherlands, in relation with institutional actors (ministries, local authorities, professional organisations) and companies (including official bilateral visits and bilateral cooperation). 3. Promoting the attractiveness of France and fostering the business community. We will share here the activities of the department, information and analyses relating to the economic, financial and sectoral environment of the countries covered, as well as any important information for French companies in the area or interested in these countries.
