Serafini e Vidotto

Serafini & Vidotto: the story of a shared dream, of two friends: Francesco Serafini and Antonello Vidotto. In 1986, they joined their winemaking know-how and experience to craft remarkable wines in the Asolo Montello appellation. Serafini & Vidotto is located in Nervesa della Battaglia, in the Veneto region, 50 km north of Venice, where people used to cultivate grapes since the 18°century. Serafini & Vidotto’s sustainable farmed vineyards cover 25 hectares planted with international grape varieties (Cabernet, Merlot), and native ones (Glera, Incrocio Manzoni, Recantina). Having a sustainable approach means being open-minded and willing enough to renounce a part of a crop. In Serafini & Vidotto, income has never been the leading factor of its business, rather than living in a healthy and beautiful environment. The visionary approach, that led Francesco and Antonello to make an outstanding, elegant wine, namely “Il Rosso dell’Abazia”, continues today in a contemporary style, under the guidance of the second generation, represented by Matteo Serafin, Notably, the winery has recently introduced into the market Marquise, a classic method sparkling wine, blanc de noir, based on 100% Pinot Noir.
