The main goal of our laboratory is to create an algorithm that can be utilized to expedite scientific progress by exploring the relationship between coincidence and serendipity in scientific discoveries. Our research aims to provide insights into the potential of coincidence and synchronicity events to considerably accelerate scientific progress, and to better understand the conditions that lead to scientific discoveries.
We already teach our findings in academic classes of scientific innovation, and strive that our work will help researchers to recognize the potential value of random events that come their way and provide a roadmap for harnessing the power of coincidence and serendipity to advance scientific innovation.
To achieve these objectives, we will utilize innovative generative artificial intelligence software that can reveal new and unexpected connections between different fields of research. This will help to identify new areas of scientific investigation and promote interdisciplinary research that would otherwise go unnoticed. Our lab's work will contribute to a greater understanding of the interplay between chance events and scientific innovation and accelerate scientific progress in previously unforeseen ways.
