👨🏻⚕️ During his 35 years of activity as an ENT doctor, Dr. Hubinois noticed that his presbycusis patients refused to wear hearing aids despite their daily discomfort. By questioning them, he discovers their reasons : cost, aesthetics, complexity of the process or of the device. To date, only 30% of the world's population is considered to wear a hearing aid.
➡️ In the early 2000's, Dr. Hubinois proposed – to certain professionals with whom he worked – to develop a discreet, effective, easy-to-use hearing aid, available without a prescription (OTC). While the advancement of technology allows it, this idea will never be realized. In 2014, he talked about it to his children, Olivier and Géraldine.
➡️ For two years, with a team of doctors and engineers, they studied more than 150,000 audiometric curves and developed a fine configuration that compensates for age-related hearing loss. This is the birth of Orison, the invisible ready-to-hear
hearing aid.
🚀 Commercialized in 2016, Orison met an immediate success in France.
• 2017
SERINITI joins the French-Tech eco-system.
Orison's success extends to Belgium, Switzerland and Canada.
• 2018
SERINITI is finalist of the Silver Night Trophy, in the R&D Innovation category. The second version of Orison is marketed. Orison's success extends to Mauritius.
• 2019
In France, Orison is available at home through a partnership with L'Opticien qui Bouge and in companies with Sodexo gift vouchers.
• 2020
The distribution network expands with the Distri Club Médical chain. The third version of Orison is launched. The distribution of Orison is extended to the whole of Europe.
• 2021
The international website of SERINITI is online.
• 2022
Orison is joined by Azur, the rechargeable digital mini BTE.
