There's nothing quite like that feeling you get when you're using the perfect tool for a job you do a lot. (And it's especially true when making music, in my experience.) But when you have a really specific idea of the sound you want to produce, then selecting the right tools can become frustratingly difficult. The problem is, you could basically divide the vast majority of plugins out there into two categories: - either they are simple to use, but barely customizable – so you typically can't get exactly what you're looking for out of them, - or it's the exact opposite, they're extremely customizable – but the unintuitive interface most definitely will kill your creative flow. From this observation, I started scribbling ideas for audio plugins that I wish I could use in my own sessions. I would design them on paper, with detailed diagrams, and explanations of how it would work, and would keep on refining them. Eventually, imagining these new tools got me so excited that I decided to teach myself C++ and audio development, just so that I could prototype my ideas. A few years later, Sesame Audio was born. The first collection of 6 effect plugins and 1 instrument is setting out to achieve exactly what my initial thought was: - an uncompromising and carefully tuned sound, - a simple and elegant interface that you don't need to "figure out", - and innovative workflow-improvement features designed to get you where you want faster. This is a labor love that I'm working on in my spare time, I plan on starting beta testing Q1 of 2023.
